Featured Esty Seller: Bumble C

If you couldn’t tell, we’re big fans of handmade over here at tumblewee.  We constantly surf etsy for unique creations and finding Bumble Cs’ beautiful shop was such a stroke of luck for us!  We’re absolutely in LOVE with this oh-so-feminine shop and all the lovely creations in it. Like these Miranda covered button earrings:

I love these covered button earrings!

Ashley wore her lovely pair of “Grace” lace earrings for last Friday Fashion post.  And though each pair is made from vintage lace so you aren’t able to buy these EXACT earrings, here are their cousins:

Vintage lace earrings: Rose

If you want to have a truly unique matching necklace try pairing the Rose earrings with Bumble C’s Lucile vintage lace necklace:

This is absolutely one of the most beautiful statement necklaces I've ever seen!

Angela is a full time student and part time crafter who loves to create whenever she can find the time.  We think she must manage to find plenty of time because she has so many beautiful creations!! Like these Cinnamon hair clips:

I'm picturing a flowy, vintage lace dress and soft curls held back by these lovely hair clips. A future Fashion Friday perhaps . . .

Add this Eileen peony ring to complete the romantic look:

So pretty!

We asked Angela to describe her inspiration and she told us, “I’m inspired by anything feminine, soft, vintage, and classic. I really got my start when I was planning my wedding, and realized I had a love for lace! I try to create pieces that are versatile so they can go from casual day to a night on the town, but are showstoppers at any time.”
After seeing her lovely creations, I’m sure you’ll agree that she describes her jewelery beautifully!

So if your the romantic or vintage type, go and check out her stuff and support handmade uniqueness.

Fashion Friday: Easter Inspired

It’s Fashion Friday!  As our theme for the past week or two has been about Easter . . . so too is this one!

Jax and I choose outfits that would be fit for any Easter Brunch with a little vintage flare.

We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to sport some amazing Etsy finds.

On Jax – an adorable pair of Wool Herringbone Little Boy Pants by HughFielding.  This shop has some totally cute little kids clothes.  You should check them out.  The pants were inspired by bespoke mens fashion.  They are 100% wool herringbone with a blue striped mens shirting cotton detail.   The herringbone is supersoft midweight brown/black with an Elastic waistband.

The second Etsy find is a pair of Lace Earrings by Bumble.  They are totally amazing and every mother needs a pair!  She has other beautiful jewelry on her site as well.  What I love about them  . . . they are romantic, yet edgy.

Also on me, a yellow and white cherry dress from forever21 with leggings, leather sandals, and a cute bird necklace I got as a gift a long time ago.

Make sure you take a look at the Etsy designers I mentioned above.  Next week, we’ll share a little more with you about them and their products (plus a suprise giveaway).

Have a fantastic Easter weekend!  May it be filled with egg dying and all the activities and food you enjoy.

ENJOY! ash

fashion fridays: Ash & Jax – South Mtn PHX

This shoot fell on a day we ran errands, so being comfortable was one of my main concerns.

We went to Roosevelt Row in Downtown PHX.  This is where they hold FIRST FRIDAY A.R.T.S. MARKET ( as the name implies – its the first friday of every month) for the Indie Art Scene.

They recently added some new murals to the area, which we’ll showcase in a number of Fashion Fridays.  There were too many to do in one and we didn’t think it would do them justice by doing all of them at once!  There are a few pretty funny pics (well at least two that are LAUGH-OUT-LOUD type photos, so don’t be shy, go ahead and laugh out loud if you think Jax and I look funny – or just me!  Laughing is good for the soul).

Jax was definitely starting to feel the – “I don’t get what’s going on and I really don’t care” – bug!!  Jax’s face – PRICELESS.

Such a great mural!  So in the style of Shel Silverstein – whimsical, magical, and yet funky!

and  . . .

yes…remember at the beginning I said you would LAUGH-OUT-LOUD . . . well if you didn’t after THAT picture than I guess I can’t make you laugh.  I thought it was pretty funny.  The apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree in this picture!

Jax wasn’t really into this ONE . . . he’s so squirmy now and just wants to be on his own, moving about and crawling.  I think you can kind of see it in ALL of these pictures.

another silly grin from me, but who wouldn’t grin like this with a son like mine (i’m sure this is how all parents feel . . . especially when your son is trying to touch a big round cacti!).

enjoy! and have a great weekend! ash

ps . . . thanks again to Brynn with movement restoration massage!
